David Kravish from California has won StatSheet's Pac 12 Player of the Week for February 18th. StatSheet's Pac 12 Freshman of the Week is Xavier Johnson from Colorado. And finally, Oregon's Carlos Emory has won StatSheet's Pac 12 6th Man of the Week. Kravish put up great stats in scoring (14 pts per game), shooting (60%), and rebounding (11 per game). The California sophomore put these numbers up in wins against UCLA and USC.
Kravish topped all scoring and rebounding for the Golden Bears with 18 points and 13 rebounds in a 76-63 win over UCLA. He followed that up with 9 rebounds and 3 blocked shots in a 76-68 win over USC.
This is the first time this season that David Kravish has been named StatSheet Pac 12 Player of the Week. The runner-up this week is senior Jason Washburn from Utah. Honorable mention goes to junior Allen Crabbe from California.
StatSheet Pac 12 Freshman of the Week: Colorado's Xavier Johnson
Xavier Johnson averaged 31 minutes of playing time as a starter for Colorado. His averages in both rebounding (11.5 per game) and three pointers (2.0 per game) led all Pac 12 freshmen. In a 71-58 upset of Arizona, Johnson rang up 19 points on 77% shooting. In a 63-62 loss to Arizona State, he put up 10 points and 14 rebounds.
This is the first StatSheet Pac 12 Freshman of the Week honor for Xavier Johnson. Our own Shabazz Muhammad gets runner-up. Our own Jordan Adams receives honorable mention.
StatSheet Pac 12 6th Man of the Week: Oregon's Carlos Emory
Carlos Emory, a 6-5 Senior forward, averaged 26 minutes over two games for the Ducks. In a 65-52 win against Washington, Emory got 6 rebounds and 57% shooting. Then in a last-minute 79-77 win against Washington State, he racked up 20 points and 3 steals.
This is Carlos Emory's second StatSheet Pac 12 6th Man of the Week award this season. Our own David Wear is the runner up. Devon Collier, a junior forward from Oregon State, earns honorable mention. UCLA has one StatSheet Pac 12 Player of the Week win this season.
